NJ Wave Swim
Team
New Jersey Wave swim team is seeking a part time assistant
coach to be the primary coach of one of our Senior groups (Senior
Advanced). NJ Wave swim team is a coach run team based out of
Bergen County, NJ and uses facilities in Paramus (primary),
Washington Township, Garfield, and Lodi. We have approximately 180
swimmers on our team ranging from Novice to Jr/Sr. National level
swimmers. Qualified candidates should have a minimum of 2 years
coaching experience, have current Red Cross Certifications (First
Aid, CPR, Coaches Safety or Lifeguarding) and have strong teaching
and communication skills. Coach should have basic computer skills
and good organizational skills. Experience with Senior swimmers and
ASCA certification is a plus but not absolutely
necessary.
Responsibilities include: coaching 5 practices a week
that vary in length from 1.5-2.5 hours depending on the day
(advanced swimmers in the group are offered additional weekly
practices with our National-Sectional group), completing meet
entries with the assistance of our team secretary for the swimmers
you coach, attending swim meets, and participating in staff
meetings 1-2x per month. Salary will range from: $12-15,000
depending on experience. Start date would be beginning in
June
2008.

Central Jersey Aquatic Club has an opening
starting June 1st for an age group coach. The position covers
mainly 8/Unders and 9/10 year old swimmers. Previous
coaching experience is preferred. Looking for an enthusiastic coach
to teach and motivate young swimmers. Responsibilities include on
deck coaching, developing a seasonal plan, assisting head
coaches when needed, and attending competitions. Salary
